The course is situated between the climatic health resorts Hinterzarten and Titisee at 900m a.s.l.. M., nestled in the Black Forest mountains. The gently rolling terrain is accompanied by the Altenbach stream. Old Black Forest farms lie picturesquely in elevated positions, which also open up typical distant views of Black Forest peaks with the Feldberg. Untouched biotopes are home to diverse animals and plants. This has created an idyllic/harmonious coexistence of natural Black Forest landscape and designed golf course.
Each hole of the 18-hole course with par 68 has its own characteristic. Extensive holes, also tempting for long hitters, form an exciting contrast to doglegs modeled into the landscape. Water hazards, greens that are highly addressable in front of a constantly changing breathtaking backdrop demand strategic and precise play.
Challenging island greens are further highlights. The ambitious golfer will find a delightful challenge, but also the beginner from handicap 54 (recognized club membership required) can improve his game and is equally welcome.
On our large practice facility with driving range, sand and green bunkers, pitching/chipping and putting green, all facets of golf can be trained and refined. Especially for the short game, beginners as well as experienced golfers will find ideal possibilities to adjust to all game situations.
